NEW YORK, NY — Join Representative Adriano Espaillat (NY-13) from 8:00-10:00 AM on Saturday, June 13, 2026, for his annual Puerto Rican Day breakfast event in recognition of this year's Puerto Rican heritage celebration in the district. This year's breakfast will be held at El Museo del Barrio, located at 1230 5th Avenue, New York, NY 10029.

Espaillat will be joined by New York city and state elected officials and will present an overview of his legislative efforts in Washington as well as honor the Honorable Nydia Velázquez in recognition of her historic career and enduring contributions to Puerto Rican communities.

This year’s theme, Cultura, Comunidad, y Poder, recognizes the vital role Puerto Rican culture, institutions, and community leadership continue to play in shaping civic engagement, political influence, and the future of El Barrio and beyond.

Representative Espaillat is the first Dominican American to serve in the U.S. House of Representatives and his congressional district includes Harlem, East Harlem, West Harlem, Hamilton Heights, Washington Heights, Inwood, Marble Hill and the north-west Bronx. First elected to Congress in 2016, Representative Espaillat is serving his fifth term in Congress. Representative Espaillat currently serves as a member of the influential U.S. House Committee on Appropriations responsible for funding the federal government’s vital activities and serves as Ranking Member of the Legislative Branch Subcommittee of the committee during the 119th Congress. NEW YORK, NY — Acompañe al congresista Adriano Espaillat (NY-13) de 8:00 a 10:00 a.m. el sábado 13 de junio de 2026 en su tradicional desayuno anual con motivo del Día de Puerto Rico, una celebración dedicada a honrar la herencia y las contribuciones de la comunidad puertorriqueña en el distrito. El desayuno de este año se llevará a cabo en El Museo del Barrio, ubicado en el 1230 de la 5.ª Avenida, Nueva York, NY 10029.

Espaillat estará acompañado por funcionarios electos de la ciudad y del estado de Nueva York, y presentará un resumen de sus iniciativas legislativas en Washington, además de rendir homenaje a la Honorable Nydia Velázquez en reconocimiento a su histórica trayectoria y a sus perdurables contribuciones a las comunidades puertorriqueñas.
