I’m honored that the people of Iowa have put their faith in me, and I’m
ready to take this once-in-a-generation shot to win this OPEN seat and be
the champion working people deserve in Washington.
I got into this race because like millions of fellow Democrats, I was fed
up with losing, fed up with treating “red” states like lost causes and
tired of perpetually playing defense.
I won this primary because I played offense, and I’m going to run a
relentless full-court press to win this seat in November.

a decade and take back the Senate Majority.

Look, I’m
under no illusions about the work it’ll take to win a battleground Senate
race as a Democrat in Iowa. Taking on Joni Ernst, Ashley Hinson, and their
billionaire-fueled MAGA Machine will be a beast of a challenge —
physically, mentally, financially.
But I’m not your average career politician. I’ve won back-to-back
victories in deep red Trump country. Polls show me either tied with or one
point ahead of my official Republican opponent, Ashley Hinson.
This election will be a nail-biter, and it starts right now.
We have 153 days to bring independents and conservatives into our Prairie
Populist coalition; to overcome over $40 million in spending from MAGA
megadonors; and to let the world know that working-class Americans own the
future.
Ads, statewide tours, and campaign infrastructure don’t come cheap, and
our campaign coffers are nearly empty after a hard-fought and high-cost
primary victory.
The outcome of this race will decide the Senate majority with huge
