We just elected New Jersey’s first Justice Democrat.

Justice Democrats

BREAKING news, John:

Justice Democrat Dr. Adam Hamawy just beat the political machine and won the Democratic primary for New Jersey’s 12th congressional district!

Congratulations NJ-12 primary 2026 winner Justice Democrat Adam Hamawy

Dr. Hamawy, a veteran and surgeon who volunteered in Gaza, defeated 12 other candidates in this crowded primary by a landslide!

His victory — Justice Democrats’ third win of the 2026 cycle — was made possible by this grassroots movement, despite an eleventh-hour attempt from the establishment to boost one of his opponents with $400,000 in mysterious Super PAC support.

Dr. Hamawy won this race the old-fashioned way: by outworking his opponents, out-organizing the establishment, and building the progressive coalition needed to deliver his people-first vision to New Jersey working families.

He centered his experience as a veteran and surgeon to expose the for-profit agenda behind America’s healthcare system and war machine, and ran on a clear vision for Medicare for All and making life more affordable for everyday people — not corporate lobbies and war profiteers.

AIPAC, Crypto, and AI wanted to buy this seat and were interviewing various candidates, but while they couldn’t choose which corporate shill to back, the left united behind a political outsider with a vision that spoke to the needs and priorities of Jersey voters.

AIPAC’s cycle so far in New Jersey is the perfect representation of how much they flounder and fail against an electorate who simply knows who they are and therefore, knows better.

We can’t wait for Dr. Adam to join our progressive bloc in Congress as the first Justice Democrat to represent New Jersey. Now, we have six more primaries left, and New York is up next on June 23.

While we celebrate this huge win, help us deliver even more losses to AIPAC and the corporate-backed Democratic establishment: pitch in $5 now to help us send another six Justice Democrats to Washington this cycle!
