I am officially the Democratic nominee for Governor of New Mexico! 

This is a huge milestone, friend — and it's one I couldn't have reached without you. Thank you. 

I’m a daughter of Pueblo women, a New Mexican, a single mother, and a former small business owner. I’ve served as a Congresswoman and became the first Native American Cabinet Secretary in U.S. history. And when we win this race in November, I will be the first Native American woman elected Governor in any state.

Thanks to supporters like you, we're now one step closer to delivering for working families and making our vision of a New Mexico for New Mexicans a reality. 

But there’s still a long road to November, and Republicans are already watching to see whether we can keep this momentum going – ready to spend anything to bring their extremist agenda here.

Our campaign has always been about New Mexicans building something together. I am ready to deliver stronger schools, affordable childcare and housing, higher wages, support for small businesses, better healthcare access, and safer communities. The general election is about more than what we stand to lose. It’s about what we stand to gain.
