John,

Last month, Texas Republicans won their long battle to gerrymander
congressional maps. Now, Texas’s 35th Congressional District is one of the
seats they’re hoping to flip because of it.

[ [link removed] ]If you’re ready to fight back with voter registration and turnout in
Texas, chip in $3 right now to power Voto Latino’s work in
battleground districts like TX-35.

Let us explain why we’re going all in on this district:

Right now, TX-35 is represented by a Democrat. But if the district had
been redrawn in 2024, it would have gone to Donald Trump by about 10
points. That’s exactly why Republicans redrew their maps — because they
know that manipulating districts helps them hold onto power.

In last week’s election, Republicans picked Carlos De La Cruz, a
Trump-backed loyalist who has been clear that he will be another Trump
enabler in Washington.

Democrats nominated Johnny Garcia, a Bexar County Sheriff’s Deputy who’s
focused on the everyday issues families are feeling right now, like the
rising cost of groceries and struggling to pay utility bills.

Garcia has talked about ending Trump’s cost-raising tariffs, preventing
members of Congress from stock trading, and bringing money back to the
community he’ll serve.

Latino voters in this district are paying attention, and turnout will
change the outcome even in districts Republicans tried to rig. But only if
we make sure voters make it to the polls in November.

That’s why we’re doing what we do best in Texas right now. We’re
registering eligible Latino voters and organizing on the ground to
motivate people to vote in this important election.
