Today, Nancy Pelosi announced her endorsement in the Massachusetts Senate race between current Senator Ed Markey and challenger Rep. Joe Kennedy.

Markey is a climate justice champion. Kennedy, who stands well to his right, is a beneficiary of tremendous inherited name recognition. 

Like Nancy Pelosi, Kennedy is a creature of a political dynasty.

The nepotism of dynastic politics is bad enough.

Standing against climate justice is worse.

We have the first chance in 33 years to win a new voice for San Francisco in Congress. We’ve recruited support from tens of thousands, but remain vastly outgunned by the most powerful corporate politician on the planet.
