Joe Biden is just hours away from taking the stage tonight at the Democratic National Convention to formally accept the nomination for President of the United States. But before we tune in to hear his vision to unite and move our nation forward, I wanted to reach out with an important ask.

I know that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have what it takes to run a successful campaign and win in November. They’re both passionate fighters who care deeply about our country and I could not be more excited to usher in a much needed change in leadership for our country.

Now, all eyes are on them – these first few days following the nomination are crucial. People across the country will be looking to see how much enthusiasm is behind the Biden-Harris ticket. That’s why it’s so important that we step up and pitch in to help them win.

Team – Can I count on you to split a donation between the Biden/Harris campaign and mine to show how much enthusiasm is behind both of our teams? For every $10 donation, $5 will help our campaign here in the Third District and the other $5 will help Team Joe hit the campaign trail.

Team, all the issues we care about are on the ballot this November. The election of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris is the only way to ensure that we can expand affordable healthcare, fight for our climate, protect our DREAMers and unions, and provide more COVID-19 relief to our workers and small businesses. I know that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are the exact leaders we need to tackle these issues on Day 1.
