Membership Alert: League Launches New Ad & Website Dear Members, The League and our public safety coalition partners have been working to craft a policy agenda that we believe is essential to improve police and community outcomes. We have housed our policy proposals on a new website, InvestInPolicing.com that contains a petition we urge you to sign and send to family, friends and neighbors to sign as well. Part of our effort includes a television and digital ad to reinforce our commitment to safe, common-sense initiatives that give our rank-and-file police officers a seat at the table as legislation impacting policing in America is being discussed. We often hear from members that our voices need to be heard, well now is the time to be heard. Please go to InvestInPolicing.com and sign our petition. Please like and share this FB post. Please like and retweet this Tweet. The television and digital ad is being run in the San Jose/San Francisco and Los Angeles media markets, and the petitions will be delivered to the respective elected officials in each jurisdiction. At the local, state and federal level, the League is engaged with decision-makers, opinion leaders and, in LA, community and faith-based leaders to protect your safety and to enact common-sense improvements to how we do our work. We must do all we can to use facts and data to educate our residents about policing in our city and the most effective investments to safely improve on the work you all do now. Please sign the petition, like, share and repost our social media posts, and ask your family, friends and neighbors to do the same. Getting our message heard starts with you.
