Mitch McConnell's Debate Challenge Triggers Unusual Response from Dem. Challenger
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell invited his Democratic challenger, Amy McGrath, to a socially distanced debate, via a hand-written letter: Leader McConnell’s no-frills challenge triggered an odd response from McGrath, in which she asked the Kentucky Republican to direct-message her on Twitter as a means of communication, and accused Leader McConnell of "hiding behind the press". McGrath’s infamous gaffes and questionable campaign tactics appear to be unlimited. Her long-shot aspirations to unseat Leader McConnell grows increasingly unlikely as she implodes her own Senate bid.

Liz Harrington: At Democratic Convention, lies, conspiracy theories and meanness fill third night
Through lies and deceit Democrats have weaponized government, criminalized dissent, and launched conspiracy theory after conspiracy theory to wield against anyone who had the audacity to go to work and serve in a duly-elected president’s administration. McConnell highlights essential workers and CARES Act impact in Paducah
U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) is visiting West Kentucky Thursday to discuss the impact of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act, also known as the CARES Act. While in Paducah, McConnell will visit with healthcare heroes at Mercy Health-Lourdes Hospital and discuss the nearly $13 million the hospital received from the CARES Act. To date, the CARES Act is making a $12 billion impact across the Commonwealth. McConnell says this federal assistance includes more than 50,000 Paycheck Protection Program loans helping small businesses, farmers, and nonprofits access over $5.2 billion in urgent relief. The CARES Act delivered more than $1.7 billion for Kentucky's state and local government response to COVID-19. Kentucky healthcare providers have received more than $1.3 billion, according to McConnell.
