If you’re anything like me, watching this week’s Democratic National Convention is making you even more excited for our party’s official ticket. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are exactly the kind of leaders our country needs right now -- they’re experienced, compassionate, and have a bold vision for the future of this nation. But they urgently need our help to win this race.

Take it from someone who knows: There is plenty of work still to be done. As a dedicated member of this party, your support as a volunteer is integral in this crucial, final stretch of the race. Here are some easy, fun, and safe ways to support Joe Biden and Democrats down the ballot:

• Make calls: By making calls, you’ll be able to share your enthusiasm for the official Democratic ticket and Democrats down-ballot to potential voters. These conversations could not be more important -- and they could very well be the reason why someone votes for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris this fall.


• Download the Vote Joe App: The Vote Joe app is an organizing tool that allows you to reach out to your friends in support of Joe Biden and Democrats down the ballot, and receive updates from the Biden for President campaign and the Democratic Party.


• Join Biden for President’s volunteer Slack: Connect with Joe Biden’s campaign and stay up-to-date on the latest volunteer opportunities by joining our volunteer messaging system, Slack. This is a great opportunity to meet other volunteers as well -- virtually, of course!

We’re in the final sprint towards Election Day, John, so any time you can spare to volunteer with the campaign would be a tremendous help. Victory will be a real group effort, but with folks like you on this team, I know there is nothing we cannot accomplish if we work together.
