I want to be transparent with you about something that will make a big difference in November: grassroots fundraising.
I'm so proud to be able to finance much of my campaign work myself — I will always invest in what I believe in, and I believe in the people of San Diego more than pretty much anything else on earth!
But we have a big job ahead of us this year, and I'm coming to this team of committed supporters for help, because the truth is that I can't do it alone.
I've been focused on doing everything I can in the House to fight back: introducing a war powers resolution to end the Iran war and bring my constituents home, demanding accountability for this administration’s terror immigration regime, pushing back against cuts to Medicaid and health care to fund Trump's reckless war, and so much more.
But I can't ignore the fact that the fundraising Democrats do now will have a direct impact on whether we win or lose in November.
So as we close out May and approach the five-month mark ahead of Election Day, will you chip in a few dollars towards our fundraising goal to help me take on House Republicans and build up our resources for the fight ahead?
