The Bureau of Justice Statistics has released a 2016 dataset on law enforcement through the National Archive of Criminal Justice Data (NACJD). The Law Enforcement Management and Administrative Statistics (LEMAS) survey collects information on personnel, policies, and practices from more than 3,000 state, county, and local law enforcement agencies. Its data include—

- demographic characteristics of officers
