Dear John ,
This week we announced our third wave of endorsements for the Fall Election that will take place on Nov. 3.

As the election grows closer, its importance is only increasing. We sit at the crossroads of history. We can decide where Wisconsin is headed. We can elect people who care about our environment and our health. People who care about their communities and families and who want the same things for their constituents.

If you’re like me, you’re just plain tired of the manipulation, the lies, the political gamesmanship both federally and here in the state when it comes to leadership on conservation issues – and protecting our health and democracy.

The looming threat of losing Gov. Evers’ veto power can’t be overstated. Without the ability to stop the most disastrous policies and laws thrown at us by current legislative leaders and their cronies, our environment will suffer. That means our health will suffer.
Assembly Speaker Robin Vos is bound and determined to disavow the will of Wisconsin voters by maintaining the most punishing gerrymander in the country as new electoral maps sit on the horizon. He has specifically targeted several races so that he and his allies can continue their strategy of taking away executive powers – powers that when Scott Walker was governor, they tried to expand time and time again.

That must end Nov. 3.

We’re proud to announce these latest endorsements. An endorsed candidate is vetted by the Wisconsin Conservation Voters Board through a questionnaire, a personal interview, and independent research on the candidate and campaign.

Our endorsed candidates share our values: clean water, clean air, accessible public lands, the pursuit of clean energy, and an equitable, safe democracy. We’re proud to endorse this most recent slate of candidates who will fight for a brighter, cleaner, more equitable Wisconsin:

Assembly
Rep. LaKeisha Myers for Assembly District 12
Jessica Katzenmeyer for Assembly District 15
Erik Brooks for Assembly District 21
Shaun Murphy-Lopez for Assembly District 49
Emily Berge for Assembly District 68
John Ellenson for Assembly District 75
Francesca Hong for Assembly District 76
Jacob Malinowski for Assembly District 82
Charlene Warner for Assembly District 93

Senate
Melissa Sargent for Senate District 16
Kelda Roys for Senate District 26
