Big impacts always start in local communities, friend.

Years ago, I was encouraged to get involved in politics by advocates and activists in my community with whom I worked to support our local food bank.

Today, Mark Carney and our Liberal government are working side by side with community leaders across the country to ensure that Canadians have the support they need as we build a better future together.

That’s why we made the National School Food Program permanent to provide meals for over 400,000 more children every year and save families up to $800. We’re strengthening the Canadian Dental Care Plan, ensuring Canadians have access to the affordable care they need.
