August 4 is on my mind a lot these days.
That’s primary day. It’s when Michiganders will decide which Democrat takes on Mike Rogers and his MAGA allies in November.
And it’s coming fast.
When I think about that, I know this: We are coming up on one of the last end-of-month deadlines before the primary, and this one really matters.
Tomorrow at midnight is a big one. We have a major fundraising goal of $350,000, and we need to hit it. [ [link removed] ]
Because this is no longer the part of the campaign where things are far away.
There are no more dress rehearsals.
Every dollar that comes in before midnight tomorrow does something real between now and primary day. It helps put organizers on the ground in Macomb County, Saginaw, Detroit, and communities all across the state. It funds the phone-banking and conversations with voters that actually turn support for Haley into votes for Haley. It helps us reach Michiganders in every corner of the state – including the people and places too often overlooked.
And I want to say this plainly because I’ve said versions of it before, and I want to make sure you hear me:
I am not building this campaign on viral moments. I’m building it the Michigan way – one shift, one conversation, one day of hustle at a time.
This campaign is powered by real people.
Not MAGA billionaires. Not giant personal fortunes. Not a celebrity endorsement.
Working people who actually give a damn about this state.
I’m the only person in this race who is not a millionaire. And that’s why I appreciate every single person who chips in $5, $10, or whatever they can to help power this campaign. [ [link removed] ]
That has always mattered to me, and it matters even more now.
Because what we are building here is real.
Rooted in Michigan.
That is what your support fuels. And there is no version of this campaign that wins without it.
