Folks, I needed to reach out with an update on our Senate race:
First, everyone from The New York Times to CNN reported that Ohio is in play, calling it one of the most important races in the country.
Then, we started gaining ground, with poll after poll showing me statistically tied with Republican Jon Husted.
Now, Husted and the GOP are terrified we’re going to flip this seat and the Senate, so their PACs are pouring a combined $81 million into this race to pummel me with attacks.
Folks, we have an opportunity in Ohio to give working people the fighter they deserve – but National Republicans are spending more here than anywhere else in the country. The only way I can fight back against this onslaught of attacks and dark money is with your critical grassroots support.
Will you chip in $15, $30, or anything at all – split between my campaign and Tim Kaine – to help us flip this battleground seat and bring our fight for working people to the U.S. Senate?
