This is a five-alarm fire. Black political representation in America is under attack.

This week, a three-judge panel confirmed what we already knew: Alabama’s Republican congressional maps were tainted by intentional racial discrimination.

But: Alabama Republicans have already appealed, and this case is headed back to the same Supreme Court that has gutted the Voting Rights Act.

Republicans are moving at record speed to erase our representation and I already have 2 Republican opponents if the Supreme Court stays the lower court’s ruling. We cannot afford to let them succeed.
