Hi

Together with the global malaria community, we are helping the world see the bigger picture. In these times of Covid-19, the threat of malaria has not gone away.

Today on World Mosquito Day we have an opportunity to raise awareness of the dangers of malaria-carrying mosquitoes. Against the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic, now more than ever we must keep up the fight against killer diseases like malaria. By fighting COVID-19 and malaria together, we can save more lives and make a safer world for all.

** Join the #MosquitoClapChallenge
------------------------------------------------------------

The new Zero Malaria campaign is inviting people everywhere to let the world hear loud and clear that in this new Covid era, we mustn’t take our eyes off the prize of zero malaria. A swat or a clap is the easiest way to get rid of a mosquito, Choreographer Ezinne Asinugo has turned this clap into a dance we can all take part in for World Mosquito Day. Just follow these instructions 👇.

** The final results are in, and you’ve helped raise more than £65,000 to beat malaria through the BBC Radio 4 Appeal.
------------------------------------------------------------
Thank you to everyone who donated, shared and listened to Jo Yirrell’s BBC Radio 4 Appeal back in April. With you and the incredible Fever-Tree behind us, we raised a total of £67,589. These are vital funds so we, alongside our global partners, can make sure that progress made against malaria is not lost during the global pandemic and that we end it within a generation.

Thank you,

The Malaria No More UK Team
