Preserve Vital Health and Safety Regulations for Virginia Women

If you have not already submitted public comments, please act now!

We are again faced with efforts being undertaken to weaken the regulations governing abortion center standards. The Virginia Board of Health published an official Notice of its intent to review and amend (or retain) the current abortion center regulations.  The Board of Health is opening the regulations to changes that could hurt women. Abortion is not healthcare because it ends lives instead of healing them. However, since abortion operates under the guise of healthcare, abortion centers must adhere to the regulatory standards of other healthcare facilities. Simply, Virginia women deserve nothing less.

Click here to tell the Board of Health that Virginia demands strong regulations to ensure safety for all women. The comment period expires TODAY at 11:59p.m., so please submit your comments right away.

It is important that we make sure the pro-life, pro-women, pro-safety message is heard and well represented.

Click here to leave your comment with the Virginia Regulatory Town Hall urging the Board of Health to maintain strong health and safety measures that protect vulnerable women and hold the abortion industry accountable. You may cut and paste the comments below in red into the Virginia Town Hall website, and amend as you see fit:

Abortion center regulations are essential for the health and safety of Virginia women and must be maintained and enforced, not weakened.  The abortion industry has fought regulation for years, yet repeatedly independent inspectors find serious deficiencies, even during announced inspections. Abortion centers are not able to self-regulate. Furthermore, since abortion operates under the guise of healthcare, abortion centers must adhere to the regulatory standards of other healthcare facilities. Simply, Virginia women deserve nothing less.

Please ensure the health and safety of all women by maintaining and enforcing the abortion center regulations. Thank you for your consideration.

Virginia’s abortion facilities need more oversight, not less. Life at every stage is sacred. Please act now  to advocate for this outcome!
