I’ve been watching the Democratic convention from my living room this week and I have to tell you, everyone, I’m inspired. Last night, Kamala Harris became the first woman of color to accept the nomination for Vice President of the United States.
But with the President focused on undoing everything from access to affordable health care to a functioning Postal Service, Joe Biden is right: We’re in a battle for the soul of our nation, and we have work to do.

Donald Trump and Mike Pence have shown that they’ll do whatever they think they can get away with to skew this election in their favor. Right now, we’re seeing them shutter and remove mailboxes, and the President has even suggested the election could be delayed.
The energy in our party is palpable but in this tumultuous environment, we’ve got to do more than just motivate Democrats to vote. We also have to raise enough money to educate voters about the safest and most secure ways to cast their ballots.
