President Trump protected lives from Covid while Biden cried ‘hysterical xenophobia’ and Cuomo let seniors die
President Donald
Trump ended flights from China in January getting attacked as “hysterical
xenophobia” by former Vice President Joe Biden on Feb. 1 in Iowa. President
Trump ended travel from Europe in March to the dismay of Democrats including
Biden who said it was “counterproductive.” On March 13, as part of a larger
announcement by President Trump on COVID-19 response, the Center for Medicare
and Medicaid Services (CMS) issued an updated Centers for Disease Control (CDC)
guidance for how nursing homes should handle coronavirus cases. New York Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo forced
nursing homes in his state to accept COVID patients, knowing those homes could
not treat them. CMS directed nursing homes to only admit COVID patients if “the
facility can follow CDC guidance for Transmission-Based Precautions” and to
keep only those COVID-infected patients for which they could safely care for.
On May 21, CMS Administrator Seema Verma noted, “In the guidance, CMS urged
nursing homes to dedicate a specific wing to patients moving to, or arriving
from, a hospital, where they could remain for 14 days with no symptoms.” That
didn’t happen in New York, where, per Cuomo’s order, “No resident shall be
denied re-admission or admission to the [nursing home] solely based on a
confirmed or suspected diagnosis of COVID-19.” That was the case whether or not
a nursing home had a wing for COVID recoveries. While official state counts
suggest about 6,500 died in nursing homes, it is suspected thousands of more
residents died in hospitals after being transferred from their nursing homes.
Now, Cuomo has quashed attempts to investigate his handling of the crisis,
particularly as it relates to the true number of his nursing home death
sentences.

If Joe Biden wins, get ready for President Kamala Harris—and the Green New Deal, defund the police and worse
Should Joe Biden
win the election in November against President Donald Trump, and something
happens to him, then Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) will become the President of
the United States. Usually, running mates are something of an afterthought for
many voters, an assurance that if something happens to the President, that the
Vice President is reasonably qualified to take over. But in the case of Kamala
Harris, there is legitimate concern that Joe Biden is in such poor health that
he would not finish his first term of office. An Aug.6-Aug.9 poll by Rasmussen
Reports found that a whopping 59 percent of likely voters believe that Biden is
unlikely to finish a four-year term in office. That includes 73 percent of
Republicans, 49 percent of Democrats and 57 percent of unaffiliated voters. At
77 years old (he turns 78 on Nov. 20), Biden would be the oldest person ever
elected to be President — and clearly voters have noticed. Which means we have
to give Kamala Harris heightened consideration as his running mate. That
includes Harris locking arms with U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.)
in support of legislation to implement the Green New Deal, ban petroleum, coal
and natural gas in an utterly insane bid to get to zero net carbon emissions by
2030. Then there is Harris’ push for Medicare for All she pushed in her own bid
for the Democratic nomination. Biden for his part says he supports “a public
health insurance option like Medicare.” It’s all socialized medicine to the
American people. And finally, the American people should know that Harris
supported cutting $150 million from the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD)
budget and taking the police force below 10,000 for the first time in more than
a decade. What would America look like in ten years if Kamala Harris became
President? A Soviet-style ten-year plan. A “green” economy dead in the water
that cannot create jobs to sustain the American people. Top-heavy socialized
medicine. And local communities in flames because police were not allowed to do
their jobs. Kamala Harris is a radical. And if Joe Biden wins in November, she
just might become President.
President Trump protected lives from Covid while Biden cried ‘hysterical xenophobia’ and Cuomo let seniors die
By Rick Manning
The biggest lie, among many, at the Democratic Party’s Orange Man Bad Fest on Tuesday night was that President Trump did not act aggressively or effectively to save lives from the Chinese coronavirus.
Here are a couple of key facts that Bill Clinton must have missed: President Trump ended flights from China in January, only to be attacked for “hysterical xenophobia” by former Vice President Joe Biden in Iowa on February 1. President Trump ended travel from Europe in March to the dismay of Democrats, including Biden who said the order was “counterproductive.”
On March 13, as part of a larger announcement by President Trump on COVID-19 response, the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) issued an updated Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidance for how nursing homes should handle coronavirus cases.
These measures, along with the Trump Administration’s historic industrial mobilization to ensure Americans have the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) to fight the coronavirus, are saving lives. The Monday morning quarterbacking at the Democratic convention this week is simply an attempt to deflect from the failed policies of their own party leaders, specifically New York Governor Andrew Cuomo.
Cuomo forced nursing homes in his state to accept COVID-19 patients, knowing those facilities could not treat them. His recklessness infected the most vulnerable populations in the state with the deadly virus and was in direct violation of the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services guidance. The CDC directed nursing homes to only admit COVID patients if “the facility can follow CDC guidance for Transmission-Based Precautions” and to keep only those COVID-infected patients for which they could safely care for.
CMS Administrator Seema Verma on May 21 noted, “In the guidance, CMS urged nursing homes to dedicate a specific wing to patients moving to, or arriving from, a hospital, where they could remain for 14 days with no symptoms.”
That didn’t happen in New York, where, per Cuomo’s order, “No resident shall be denied re-admission or admission to the [nursing home] solely based on a confirmed or suspected diagnosis of COVID-19.” That was the case whether or not a nursing home had a wing for COVID recoveries.
While official state counts suggest about 6,500 died in nursing homes, it is suspected thousands of more residents died in hospitals after being transferred from their nursing homes. Now Cuomo has quashed attempts to investigate his handling of the crisis, particularly as it relates to the true number of his nursing home death sentences. It is incontrovertible that thousands of patients died because Cuomo did exactly the wrong thing in contravention of the CMS and CDC guidelines.
President Trump had a much more effective response by comparison. Under the president’s orders, the USNS Comfort arrived at New York Harbor on March 30 to assist with patients who were not COVID-19 afflicted. The USNS Mercy was similarly stationed in Los Angeles in anticipation of a hospital emergency that never came. The president set up military field hospitals to assist local hospital systems that were stressed.
In addition, the president invoked the Defense Production Act to ensure enough ventilators would be available to the American people. The fact is that due to the swift and aggressive actions of President Trump, no American had to do without a ventilator if he needed one, the hospital system did not overflow, and the curve was flattened.
Early on, the president directed the Food and Drug Administration to find ways to fast track coronavirus therapies. The Coronavirus Treatment Acceleration Program is using every available method to move new safe, effective treatments to patients as quickly as possible.
Today, the federal government is collaborating with McKesson Corporation, a central distributor of future COVID vaccines and related supplies needed to administer the vaccinations, to rapidly distribute a coronavirus vaccine as soon as one is approved. There are currently three candidates in phase-three clinical trials and are on pace to have more than 100 million doses of a vaccine ready before the end of the year and 500 million doses very shortly thereafter.
By September, the Strategic National Stockpile inventory, badly depleted during the Obama-Biden years, is on track to contain over 300 million N95 respirators and surgical masks, over 4.5 billion gloves, and more than 190,000 ventilators.
Second-guessing about the increase in cases ignores the reality that, with the exception of south Texas where American ex-patriots living in Mexico are stressing the system, our medical system is holding up well, PPE has been produced and distributed in record numbers and a variety of tests have been approved and distributed broadly across the nation.
While Democrats were making stuff up about the president’s connection to Ukraine to obscure their current nominee’s corrupt hand in dealing with that country in the past, President Trump mobilized the best and brightest minds to combat the virus both from a health and economic perspective.
Hundreds of thousands of Americans are alive today as a result of Trump’s valiant COVID response. It is sad that the Democrats, like Biden, were so quick to criticize and slow to come up with solutions. When they did, their solutions often mirrored steps the president had taken earlier in the fight.
The record is clear. The only reason anyone in America thinks that the federal government response was not aggressive is that the left-stream media hid the truth from them.

If Joe Biden wins, get ready for President Kamala Harris—and the Green New Deal, defund the police and worse
By Robert Romano
Should Joe Biden win the election in November against President Donald Trump, and something happens to him, then Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) will become the President of the United States.
Usually, running mates are something of an afterthought for many voters, an assurance that if something happens to the President, that the Vice President is reasonably qualified to take over.
But in the case of Kamala Harris, there is legitimate concern that Joe Biden is in such poor health that he would not finish his first term of office.
An Aug.6-Aug.9 poll by Rasmussen Reports found that a whopping 59 percent of likely voters believe that Biden is unlikely to finish a four-year term in office. That includes 73 percent of Republicans, 49 percent of Democrats and 57 percent of unaffiliated voters.
At 77 years old (he turns 78 on Nov. 20), Biden would be the oldest person ever elected to be President — and clearly voters have noticed.
President Donald Trump has certainly noticed. His campaign is currently running an ad comparing the Biden of today with the Biden from just a few years ago, contrasting the energetic Biden of yesteryear with the meandering Biden of today who, when not using a teleprompter, appears unaware of important facts and cannot complete sentences.
The ad asks, “Did something happen to Joe Biden?”
And so too have journalists noticed. On Aug. 5, Biden told CBS News reporter Erol Barnett when he asked Biden “Have you taken a cognitive test?” that “No, I haven’t taken a test. Why the hell would I take a test? C’mon, man. That’s like saying to you before you got on this program, would you take a test whether you’re taking cocaine or not? What you do you think, huh? Are you a junkie?”
Clearly, Biden was offended by the question, but it needs to be asked. Will he make it to 2024? The truth is, the American people have to accept the very real possibility that Biden may not be mentally nor physically fit to discharge the duties of the President under the Constitution.
Which means we have to give Kamala Harris heightened consideration as his running mate.
That includes Harris locking arms with U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) in support of legislation to implement the Green New Deal, ban petroleum, coal and natural gas in an utterly insane bid to get to zero net carbon emissions by 2030.
“Climate change is an existential threat—it’s critical we act now to achieve a cleaner, safer, and healthier future. But it is not enough to simply cut emissions and end our reliance on fossil fuels. We must ensure that communities already contending with unsafe drinking water, toxic air, and lack of economic opportunity are not left behind,” said Harris in a statement.
“We need a Green New Deal based in climate and environmental justice, which means building a clean economy that protects communities that have been neglected by policymakers for far too long. I’m proud to work with Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez on this comprehensive proposal, and I’m hopeful that it brings a Green New Deal closer to reality.”
Under the Green New Deal, 62 percent of the electric grid would need to be replaced within ten years with so-called renewable energy, as the plan calls for eliminating coal and natural gas electricity generation.
All consumption of natural gas and petroleum for home heating in the winter and making hot water would have to cease and all homes would have to somehow be refitted with electric heat generation and boilers.
Every car and truck in America that runs on petroleum would have to be replaced with electric vehicles. It would be the end of the internal combustion engine.
Every building in America would have to be upgraded or replaced to be net-zero carbon emitting.
Then there is Harris’ push for Medicare for All she pushed in her own bid for the Democratic nomination. Biden for his part says he supports “a public health insurance option like Medicare.” It’s all socialized medicine to the American people.
The Harris Medicare for All plan would, like the Green New Deal, phase in over ten years, leading to the end of private, employer-based insurance for most Americans.
And finally, the American people should know that Harris supported cutting $150 million from the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) budget and taking the police force below 10,000 for the first time in more than a decade.
“I applaud Eric Garcetti for doing what he’s done,” Harris told ABC’s Good Morning America host George Stephanopoulos in June, adding, “Right now, what we’re seeing in America is many cities spend over one-third of their entire city budget on policing but meanwhile we’ve been defunding public schools for years in America.”
Harris explained, “We’ve got to re-examine what we’re doing with American taxpayer dollars and ask the question: are we getting the right return on our investment? Are we actually creating healthy and safe communities? That’s a legitimate conversation and it requires a really critical evaluation.”
What would America look like in ten years if Kamala Harris became President? A Soviet-style ten-year plan. A “green” economy dead in the water that cannot create jobs to sustain the American people. Top-heavy socialized medicine. And local communities in flames because police were not allowed to do their jobs.
Kamala Harris is a radical. And if Joe Biden wins in November, she just might become President. Watch out.
