Congrats, abortion baddies! You made it through another week in America. Consider yourself lucky, because it was also another week of anti-abortion lawmakers asking themselves: “What if we just killed pregnant people?”
No, Literally
This week, North Carolina lawmakers proposed a bill that takes fetal personhood to cartoon villain levels. [[link removed]] Not only does it declare a fetus a person the second the jizz hits the fan, it ALSO includes language that could allow deadly force against someone seeking an abortion.
Yep. You read that correctly.
Apparently the “pro-life” movement is now workshopping legislation that says you can KILL actual living people in the name of protecting a clump of cells. Totally normal reaction to someone needing healthcare!!!

Meanwhile, the attacks on medication abortion are ramping up too. Conservatives are STILL coming for mifepristone [[link removed]] because they know abortion pills are safe, effective, and are still being used by people despite abortion bans. Which is exactly why we need to fight like hell to protect them.
