I know it’s been a while since you've heard from me. I hope you’ve been well!
Right now, I’m emailing to ask you to please consider donating this afternoon to Jared Golden’s ultra-competitive campaign. It’s really important that we raise $1,100 before midnight. >>
Believe me, we don’t enjoy having to email you asking for money. But, Jared doesn’t take any corporate PAC money to his campaign, so we depend on support from emails just like this one. He made that promise during his first Congressional campaign in 2018, and we will continue to keep that promise.
As Jared’s finance director, I can tell you that your contributions really make the difference here. We’ll be using all of the money we raise to pay for:
- A massive voter turnout effort
- TV and internet ads
- A lot of yard signs
- Staff and offices around the district
Sadly, running for Congress isn’t cheap. In 2018, we had to raise $5 million to win this toss-up district. We know it’s a real shame that it's so expensive, and that's why we need to send Jared back to Congress -- so he can continue fighting against money in politics and reject special interest agendas.
