More than 33,000 EWG supporters have already shared their opinion on bee-killing pesticides, but we haven't heard from you, friend.
We need 16,232 more supporters to weigh in before 11:59 p.m. tonight. Can we count on you to take this quick survey?
TAKE SURVEY: Should the U.S. ban neonic pesticides?
Neonics have been linked to the dramatic drop in bee populations, and now a new report says the bee population decline may already be affecting our food supply. The U.S. needs to follow the EU's lead and ban these pesticides!
Thanks for your response, friend.

Dear friend, A new study published by the Royal Society has just revealed that massive declines in bee populations may already be affecting our food supply! Bees have been disappearing at an alarming rate around the globe, and scientists believe bee-killing pesticides – neonicotinoids or “neonics” for short – may be responsible. The study found that lack of bees is hampering the production of apples, blueberries and cherries in the U.S. Bees are key pollinators and are responsible for one-third of our food supply. The E.U. has already banned four of these toxic pesticides, but the U.S. has failed to take any meaningful action to protect our environment. Now the U.S. is finally considering legislation that would BAN neonics and protect bees, but we need your help to get the job done. We need 5,862 of our top supporters to complete our quick survey on neonics before 11:59 p.m. tonight. Your response will help us in the fight to ban neonics! |
