Dear John,
Since you're such a vital member of
our community, I want to take a moment to ensure you know we're here
to offer support and provide resources to all who need it -
whether you're a person living with Alzheimer's disease, a caregiver,
a family member or a friend.
While COVID-19 has impacted the way we
offer services, we refuse to let it sever the vital human connection
that can make such a difference. We've pivoted our in-person, peer and
professionally led support groups by changing to virtual meetings or
phone calls. While the location has changed, the feelings of support
and comfort gained from speaking with experts or people in similar
situations remain the same.
Whether you provide daily care,
participate in decision-making or are concerned about someone with
Alzheimer's or another dementia, we offer help and support:
* Call our free 24/7 Helpline at 800.272.3900 to talk with
specialists and master's-level clinicians who offer confidential
support and information to people living with the disease,
caregivers, families and the public.
* Access our chat feature on alz.org to communicate directly with
our Helpline staff, if you're unable to use a telephone.

* Visit the Alzheimer's Association & AARP Community Resource
Finder to discover local programs available by phone or online
during the pandemic.
