From an early age, Nancy learned the value of hard work.





She was destined to pick herself up and fight back.





Nancy was raised in the shadow of the flag. Her father—my late husband—was a
WWII Purple Heart Veteran.

ran toward it.





By 21, she became the first woman to graduate from The Citadel, South
Carolina’s Military College, following in her father’s footsteps.

Today, Nancy is running for Governor of South Carolina. And just like she did
