SEIU UHW, representing over 150,000 workers, is on the verge of taking historic industrial action at Kaiser Permanente Hospitals! They’re rallying one more time on Labor Day to let Kaiser know they need to treat their workers with respect and they're asking for our help. Let's show our solidarity by rallying and marching with them.
The union's agreement with Kaiser is being eroded by Kaiser's aggressive anti-worker policies of understaffing, hoarding billions in profits, denying medicaid patients care, understaffing, and outsourcing jobs all while giving their CEO an enormous $10 million a year raise and paying 36 executives over a million dollars a year each! Kaiser workers have had enough!
Join Sacramento DSA at the Labor Day Rally to show solidarity for the thousands of workers who are being subjected to poor treatment, understaffing, job loss, and losses in wages and benefits. We’ll be there to offer words of support to Kaiser workers and build solidarity for the months and years ahead.
If you have a DSA shirt, please wear it so we can show support. If you don't have a DSA shirt, just wear red! 😄
