Hi friend,
Bradley Roth, We The Action’s May 2026 Amicus Mundi Award winner, believes that the legal profession should never lose sight of empathy and human connection. As an adjunct professor at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, he teaches a dispute resolution course that he developed to help students build skills to strengthen both professional effectiveness and personal well-being.

Through his work with the Florida Rights Restoration Coalition ([link removed]) , Bradley has helped restore pathways to civic participation for returning citizens who were previously excluded from the democratic process due to felony convictions. His research and advocacy has illuminated a path toward belonging, dignity, and fuller participation in society for individuals who seek to regain their voting rights.
Bradley has reviewed Florida court databases, case files, and county records to determine individuals’ eligibility for voting rights restoration and identify outstanding legal financial obligations. He researched over 1,000 individual cases in a year, providing Florida attorneys with information needed to more effectively petition courts for relief.
