Friend, I just watched our future vice president Kamala Harris’s speech and -- wow -- I am honored to be on the ballot with her.

We should all feel fired up for November -- I know I am. This election is our shot to make our country more just and equitable and begin to address the hatred and fear that has been coursing through the veins of our society for far too long.

Like Kamala, women up and down the ballot are still aiming to shatter glass ceilings. Women across our country are still fighting to ensure that everyone can fully participate in our democracy. Women right here in New York -- the original home of the women's suffrage movement -- are still struggling for equal rights within their own communities.
