Friend,

My name is Vincent Dixie, and today I'm launching my campaign for Congress to represent Tennessee's 7th District.

On May 5th, Tennessee Republicans did something they used to at least try to hide: they redrew our congressional maps to split our communities, weaken Black voting power, and ensure that they could choose their own voters rather than face the judgment the voters are ready to dish out to them for their failures.

Tell me how that makes sense. Drawing the lines in 2026 so Black voters and working people have less of a voice, not more.

But here's what I want you to understand: politicians don't redraw maps when they feel secure. They do it when they're afraid — afraid that working families are tired.

Tired of struggling just to get by. Tired of watching the powerful rewrite the rules. Tired of being told to feel powerless. They drew these lines hoping we'd feel that our power had been ripped away and just stay home in defeat.

I'm Vincent Dixie, and I'm running for Congress in Tennessee’s 7th District because moments like this don't call for silence or sorrow. They call for somebody willing to step up — and I've done that my whole life.

If you believe this is a moment to make our voices louder than ever, I’m asking you to join my campaign by becoming a Founding Donor today. [ [link removed] ]

I was raised in Nashville by a single mom, a proud union member at AT&T whose coworkers were like family and who made sure we never missed a meal or had the lights cut off. I started working at 14 to help support my family.

I've worked the fast-food line and the bank counter, built businesses from the ground up, and I’ve worked in the statehouse where I helped suspend the grocery tax, opened advanced placement classes to kids who'd been shut out, and stood up to a corrupt Speaker. It was never easy, but it was always necessary.

You cannot erase people who are organized, friend. You cannot silence communities that are united. And you cannot redraw the determination of working people who are desperate for change.

Donald Trump and his allies in our state can draw any lines they want, but we, The People, decide the outcome. This seat has been in Republican hands for 40 years, and they think a new map makes it untouchable. I intend to prove them wrong, starting today.

Will you become a founding donor and chip in $5 to help me launch this campaign and build a movement that will demonstrate the choice to try and silence our voices and our power was a massive mistake? [ [link removed] ]
