Empower Families to Raise Resilient Kids

Dear Friend,

Every day, parents across the country are trying to navigate difficult conversations with their children. Their middle schooler is overwhelmed by anxiety and big emotions. Their teen is being exposed to vaping, alcohol, or marijuana. They’re wondering whether what they’re seeing is “normal” or a warning sign.

And many parents are not sure what to say or do, often navigating without clear guidance or support.

This Mental Health Awareness Month, we’ve been focused on giving parents practical tools to be a steady, trusted presence in their child’s life. We’ve shared resources that help families:

- Teach coping skills like calming the body and identifying feelings
- Understand risk factors for substance use
- Set healthy boundaries while staying close
- Talk more openly and build trust over time

When a caring adult shows up early and often, kids are more likely to ask for help when they need it, less likely to turn to substances or other risky behaviors to cope, and more likely to thrive.

Every day, Partnership to End Addiction provides families with free support, education, and guidance when they need it most. But we can't do it without supporters like you.

We know that early intervention, strong family communication, emotional support, and access to trusted information can dramatically reduce a young person’s risk for substance use and mental health challenges later in life.

Your donation today helps us:

-

Create easy-to-use tools for parents

-

Share expert guidance with more families

-

Help parents confidently have difficult conversations with their kids

-

Reach more communities with prevention education

When parents have the right information, they are better prepared to protect their children. And when families feel supported, kids have a better chance to grow up healthy, safe, and connected.
