As I’ve watched the 2020 Democratic National Convention this week one thing has stood out to me:

The Democratic Party is more diverse and more inclusive than it has ever been. This is good news.

I was moved to see delegates nominate our history-making Presidential ticket and to hear from leaders like Michelle Obama. I was reminded of the power of hope and I am more determined than ever to win this election and restore our nation’s values.

There are 11 weeks left until election day and we have to mobilize voters to request their mail-in ballots and return them early to ensure they are counted. I have pledged to recruit 250 supporters to focus on voter outreach until Election Day. Will you join this effort by making a contribution today? →

The GOP is still extremely powerful in this country — which is why they have gotten away with ignoring the needs of every day Americans. No more.

We have to fight back — and the only way to do that is to get more Americans engaged in the electoral process.

Voting is the backbone of our democracy and the only way we have ever succeeded in stopping the slow creep towards fascism.

This is it. There’s no time left to sit on the sidelines or wait for someone else to do the hard work.

What we do now will determine the outcome of the 2020 election.
