Last night, Ken Paxton won the Republican runoff for U.S. Senate.

This morning, the Cook Political Report moved the Texas Senate race from
"likely Republican" to "lean Republican."

In plain English: we can win.

Paxton is one of the most corrupt politicians in America:
He was indicted two separate times.
He was impeached by his own party for bribery and abuse of office.
His wife divorced him on "biblical grounds."
He has spent years using the power of the attorney general's office not to
protect Texans, but to protect himself, his allies, and his donors.

We have a historic opportunity to elect James Talarico in November.

We've been organizing across Texas for months now — reaching voters in
counties that haven't seen a Democratic organizer in years and building
the relationships that actually get people to the polls.

In 2024, the voters our volunteers personally stayed in touch with turned
out at 79%. (To put that in perspective, 18-29 year olds not in our
program turned out at a rate of 39%.)
