Dear Friend,
Thank you for your healing thoughts and prayers. The girls and I have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support. These selfless and loving prayers for the loss of our dear Carol have sustained me, my daughters and our family during this difficult time.
Carol was the greatest gift God could have ever given me. Her greatest purpose and mission in life was Eleanor and Mary Clay. This has been a difficult year for our community and Country, one marked by losses. We are all called to leave this place better than we found it. Together, we will work towards restoring the American dream for all and building a prosperous future for our children.
Carol cared deeply about the future and so she cared about the kind of country that they were going to grow up in. I know she still does.
