On October 14, 2020, at 7:00pm ET, the American Muslim community and its allies will virtually gather at the Muslims Making Change: National Honors to celebrate incredible leaders who are seizing this historic moment to help America live up to its ideals.
 

As 2020 reshapes America, Muslims Making Change: National Honors will champion the American Muslim and allied policymakers, organizers, civil rights advocates, artists, and volunteers, who are leading the country in a time of crisis and opportunity.

Who should we honor?

Nominate the leaders we’ll be celebrating together during this very special event. Self-nominations are encouraged!

• COVID-19: Nominate an American Muslim who is protecting communities from the health, economic, and emotional hardships caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
   
• Racial Justice: Nominate an American Muslim who is advancing education, direct action, and/or systemic change for racial justice.
   
• Civil Society: Nominate an American Muslim who is engaged in civil society during a historic election year.
   
• Allyship: Nominate an ally who is making change on issues that directly impact American Muslims.

It will be an unforgettable virtual event that marks the 15th year anniversary of Muslim Advocates’ tireless work for civil rights by honoring those leaders who are defending the rights of American Muslims in 2020.
