Every year, Congress breaks for the month of August. And every year, August flies by way too fast. It felt great coming home to my constituents in California, but soon I’ll be back in Washington, where I’ll need to be ready to stand up to Trump and his enablers and deliver for California families. Can you chip in $200, $100, or $50 today so that I can be ready to fight once Congress is back in session?

A few days ago, I held a town hall where I invited constituents to discuss the issues that mattered most to them, ask questions, and voice their opinions about my work in D.C. And while so many people in attendance were optimistic about the work being done, there was -- understandably -- still some anxiety about the future of our country under Donald Trump. That’s why I promise to push back even harder against his policies and secure more wins for hardworking American families. Can I count on your support so that I can get right to work?
