Friend,
The Indiana Election Commission just killed a proposal that would have allowed no-excuse absentee voting -- meaning voters could vote absentee for any reason. This proposal is essential and a no-brainer during COVID-19 because no one should have to choose between their health and their vote.
Sign on if you agree -- everyone should have the right to vote absentee during a global pandemic!
The commission voted to allow no-excuse absentee voting for the June primary elections, but now, due to GOP backlash, they’ve changed their tune. Hoosiers, and indeed, Americans everywhere, still deserve and need the right to vote absentee.
I’m so proud that my father, Frank E. Mrvan Jr., a state Senator in Indiana, has been a leader in the fight for no-excuse absentee voting. I am so grateful to have him as an example. He has instilled in me the value of our democracy and the need to consistently focus on the needs of all people.
Friend, Democrats like my father and I continue to fight for the right to vote for all of our fellow citizens. But we need YOUR help to win this fight. Sign on now to demand that the Indiana Election Commission approve no-excuse absentee voting NOW!
Thanks for your support. I look forward to a fair and just election this coming November.
In service,
Frank
