Good morning.
We're reaching out this morning to ask you to split a contribution between James Talarico's U.S. Senate campaign in Texas, and Elissa Slotkin's work to help elect Democrats in Michigan and across the country.
Here's why:
Last night, Ken Paxton won the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate in Texas. He did it despite being impeached by a Republican majority in the Texas House of Representatives for using his office to help political donors and firing staff who reported his misconduct to the FBI.
This is a winnable race. Not just because of Ken Paxton's ethical challenges in an election cycle where corruption is a major theme, but because James Talarico is a unique candidate -- a Democrat who won in a Trump district and offers a distinctive message as a seminarian.
Now that the general election is here, we're hoping to help James Talarico get off to a strong start. This is one of the races that can help flip the Senate.
$3 - that's the ask.
$3 to help James Talarico win his U.S. Senate race in Texas.
$3 to help Elissa Slotkin elect candidates in Michigan and across the country.
$3 because your donation will give Democrats a chance to flip the Senate in November.
The best time to make your $3 donation was before today. The next best time is right now.
If you've stored your info with ActBlue, we'll process your contribution instantly:
Thank you for stepping up -- especially today. James needs it now. Elissa needs your help as well. So thank you again.
