We're disgusted, John.

Wildfires are raging in our district and across our state. Our air is unbreathable. And Donald Trump is playing politics with the funding we need to fight the fires.

A former official in the president's own administration just admitted that Trump told FEMA to "cut off the money" and demanded that they "stop giving money to people whose houses have burned down from a wildfire because he was so rageful that people in the state of California did not support him and politically it wasn't a base for him."

Meanwhile, Mike Garcia is more concerned with staying on Donald Trump's good side than making sure we have the resources to fight fires and help folks who lose homes and loved ones. We can't count on him to stand up to Trump -- or stand up for us.

That's why we need to elect a real leader for CA-25: someone who will fight to ensure that our community receives the support we need to keep our people safe and fight the fires. We need to send Christy to Congress in November.
