Right now, Arizona is on the front lines of the most consequential voting-rights battle this country has seen in a generation.

The Supreme Court gutted a key provision of the Voting Rights Act, striking down a majority Black congressional district in Louisiana and opening the door to discriminatory maps across the country. This makes the races in Arizona even more important.

This is exactly the kind of moment that tests whether we have the infrastructure to fight back. We are two months away from the Arizona primaries — our chance to prove that we have what it takes.

But first, we need to close our monthly gap because when we hit our goals, we can make confident budget decisions that help us register voters.
