Access to voting is the foundation of democracy. And after 244 years as a democratic nation, we shouldn’t be debating about who can cast a ballot. Access to voting shouldn’t be under attack. We shouldn’t need a Voter Protection team.

But we have a Voter Protection team -- and we NEED to have one --  because the simple fact is that voting rights are under attack, right now. And it’s why we need your help.

Donald Trump recently said that the only way he loses the election is if it’s rigged. He has been systematically chipping away at voter confidence and basic access to voting. That’s why making sure our Voter Protection team is full staffed and resourced is so important.

In Maine, thousands of people rely on the US Postal Service to deliver and return their ballots. Trump thinks their votes shouldn’t count. In the midst of a pandemic, this blatant attack on vote by mail is a threat to our democracy.
