Friend, On Tuesday, Postmaster General Louis DeJoy announced a sudden reversal of some of the destructive policies he had implemented in the U.S. Postal Service since President Trump installed him in office. Among the changes he will not pursue or will undo is cutbacks to staff overtime, unnecessary restrictions on mail carrier routes and delivery times, and reduced capacity at key post offices. This is a win in the effort to protect one of our most vital public services. But this fight isn’t over; this is just the beginning of what we will need to do to ensure that every eligible absentee and mail-in voter in America has their ballots delivered to them and back to their local election authority without delay. Because people like you stepped up and contacted your Senators and Representatives, we have made our voices heard. But now we need to step up our offense and hit them where it hurts in November, and we need your help to make them feel the pain: help Kathy fight to protect our right to vote. Our system of government collapses if people do not have faith in the electoral process. We need candidates like Kathy who will restore trust with the voters and safeguard access to the ballot. Thank you for all that you do. --Team Ellis for Congress Please mail checks to:
