Friend, |

A General Election Kickoff like no other
In this unprecedented moment, our incredible Team Balter volunteers across central and western New York are engaged in our fight to bring real representation to this district. Folks are fired up and ready to defeat John Katko for constantly putting Donald Trump ahead of his constituents. Our General Election Kickoff helped us connect our team (and Dana!) with the incredible volunteers powering our campaign. Over 140 people called in to hear how they can best help our campaign and sign up to volunteer. |

Continuing to deliver masks to NY-24's communities
Last week, Dana joined 100 Black Men of Syracuse and the Syracuse Community Health Center for the launch of the "Don't Bring It Home" campaign to control the spread of COVID-19 in our black and brown communities. |

Our new ad highlighting voters' stories
Thanks to strong grassroots support, we were able to launch our fifth TV ad of the general election last week. In it, local voters share Dana's life story, and highlight the personal experiences that they have in common with her -- like working their way through college as a waitress and bartender and almost going bankrupt because of healthcare costs. They trust that if Dana is elected, she’ll work with them to make sure Washington works for everyone, not just powerful special interests. |

Roll Call downgrades John Katko’s chances
Roll Call recently updated their ratings of the 10 seats most likely to change parties in the 2020 elections -- and John Katko is the second most vulnerable Republican in the country. |
|||
New endorsements! | |||
From New York and across the nation, those individuals and organizations fighting the good fight against Donald Trump are coming out to help send Dana to Congress. This level of support shows just how important our race is to expanding the Democratic House majority, and building the progressive change we deserve in New York. For Dana to be endorsed in President Obama’s first round of endorsements is no small feat – and we can afford to waste even a single day with this power at our back. |

Happy trails to our summer campaign fellows
We are grateful for the commitment of our summer fellows to this campaign, and we’re so sad to see them go! The joy, creativity, and dedication they have brought to our team helped us tremendously through our primary and over the last few months.
When folks plan on working to flip a seat from red to blue, they envision knocking every door in their town or county, helping to distribute yard signs, and holding massive house parties and events -- but when all these plans became impossible, our fellows stepped up and worked even harder.
As always, thank you for all you've done to support Dana! |
