Wow John,
We just added 3 new candidates to our slate for the General... who's next?
We are proud to welcome Debi Carroll, Travis Norwood, and David "Alex" Knapp to the WV Can't Wait movement.
Debi is running for the 62nd House District, in Berkeley County as a long-time public servant and community volunteer. "We need a government that can cooperate and work together and put away the partisan games," as Debi told the Martinsburg Journal.
David "Alex" Knapp is running for City Council in Fairmont, as a vocal advocate for human rights and community development.
Travis Norwood grew up in Elkins, helping to found and lead a youth group that transformed the city's recycling program. Now he's running for City Council to bring more energy to the job.
Who do you know in Fairmont, Elkins, and Berkeley County? Spread the word.
These candidates join more than 40 other West Virginians who are running as part of West Virginia Can't Wait -- rejecting corporate cash, promising to never cross a picket line, and defending a policy platform that puts West Virginians ahead of corporate lobbyists, pharmaceutical companies, and out-of-state CEO's.
Find all the candidates at wvcantwait.com.
If you know of another candidate who is interested in joining the movement, drop me a line. It's not too late!
This is big (and we're getting bigger),
Stephen
