BREAKING
CNN: Postmaster General backs down on changes as at least 20 states sue over potential mail delays ahead of election

Yesterday, I announced that my office is leading a coalition of states to protect the Postal Service and Vote-by-Mail from President Trump's un-American and unlawful, partisan attacks.

Just hours after news of my lawsuit broke, the Postmaster General Louis DeJoy made a statement of his own: he is suspending the President's proposed changes to the post office until after the election.

We must ensure that the Postmaster General follows through with his promise to suspend changes to USPS. We need 10,000 supporters to join us and pledge to hold him accountable. Can we count on you?

The Trump Administration's assault on the Postal Service will cause delays for millions of seniors and veterans who receive their prescriptions by mail. It will damage the ability of small businesses to operate and impair our elections.

It's crucial that we come together now to make sure that Mr. DeJoy implements his promise to the American people.

This fight is not over. I will not stop until we have a legally enforceable commitment to protect the United States Postal Service and mail-in voting.

We can't take any chances.

The President's desperation is becoming dangerous to our democracy and the rule of law. Complacency is not an option -- we must vote and vote early!

Thank you,
Bob
