Relatives,
The Indigenous Environmental Network is providing a free popular education curriculum to organizations and groups who want to learn about carbon pricing. Because the climate crisis is eminent and the policy solutions to the crisis are a feedback loop benefiting polluters and capital, we hope to build this initiative towards unveiling the inherent mistakes embedded in carbon pricing, while building strength through an education initiative from the ground up.
You are invited to attend this training because you are at the frontline of this struggle.
You and your organization/group are invited to set up a private training tailored to your specific struggle or you can join a wider virtual training with others
One of the goals is for you all to come and share collective knowledge and feedback. Other goals include: collective strategy, vision, good humor, full participation and constructive critique.
These virtual workshops aim to create collaborative spaces to discuss and learn about carbon pricing mechanisms.
Our workshops explore and critique false solutions including:
- net zero-carbon
- carbon pricing
- forest, conservation and biodiversity offsets
- climate SMART agriculture
- nature-based solutions
- carbon capture and storage.
To sign up for these trainings please fill out the form below and we will circle back with you to schedule a date that works for you and your group.
