What we all do between now and November 3rd will determine our country’s direction for decades.
You know it, I know it -- and so does everyone at the Democratic National Convention that’s taking place this week. That’s why, with 76 days until Election Day, I want to share Stand Up America’s plan for putting Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in the White House, flipping the Senate, and helping progressives take control of state legislatures.
Over the past three and a half years, Donald Trump and his cronies have undermined our democracy, our values, our health, and our economy. Enough is enough.
That’s why we’re launching a massive digital campaign to encourage over 20 million Americans to register to vote and vote early in nine key presidential and Senate battleground states. As COVID-19 continues to complicate the voting process, we’re focused on making it easier for progressives to vote.
We can’t do this without your help. Every member of the Stand Up community has a role to play, whether you only have ten minutes or $10 to spare.
We almost never ask you for money, but this election is too important to sit out. Can you chip in $10 to help fund our electoral program? Every dollar you give will go toward contacting more eligible voters to create overwhelming voter turnout this year.
Now that we have an official ticket to defeat Trump, it’s time to commit ourselves to electing Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, removing Trump-enabling senators from office, and winning progressive majorities in state legislatures to protect and strengthen our democracy for years to come.
To do that, we have to make sure every American knows how to vote in the middle of a pandemic. That’s why we plan to:
*Mobilize our 4,000 remote volunteers to reach out to at least 16 million Americans in crucial states to help them to register to vote, apply for and safely return an absentee ballot, and turn out to vote early and on Election Day
*Run a targeted digital ad campaign to drive potential voters in key states to register to vote and request absentee ballots
*Use peer-to-peer tools to help Stand Up America’s two million community members contact people in their networks to encourage them to register to vote, get an absentee ballot, and return it in time
*Help thousands of members write 100,000+ letters to unlikely voters making sure they know just how important this election is and encouraging them to vote
*Can you donate $10 to help us reach more voters than ever before? Once you’ve done that, consider joining our remote organizing team. We’ll need your help to reach all of those voters to make sure they’re ready for Election Day.

We simply cannot accept four more years of Trump’s failed leadership, corruption, and attacks on the rule of law. While Trump tries to undermine the election and suppress the vote in the middle of a pandemic, we must do everything in our power to help Americans safely cast their ballots by mail.
Nothing less than our democracy is at stake this November.
We have our work cut out for us. But there’s no one I would rather be in the fight with.
