HAPPENING NOW: I'm speaking at the DNC

John,

I'm a third-generation healthcare worker and my son is now the fourth -- but like so many other healthcare workers in our country, I don't have healthcare coverage myself.

When I got laid off at the start of this pandemic, I kept seeing my clients. I would never abandon them. I don't have that kind of heart.

I can't say the same for companies that pay poverty wages. While I care for patients during COVID-19, I'm fighting to stay in my apartment because I can't make rent.

We have an opportunity this November to put people in the Senate and in the White House who will pass and sign a bill to make $15/hr the law, nationwide.

I'm going to be speaking about all of this for me, my family, and other Black and brown workers who are ready for justice right now.

My three kids and fifteen grandbabies are why I joined the Fight for $15 movement. Since then, I've stood alongside other worker leaders that lift me up as we all fight for a better future for our families. We've won $70 billion in raises for 64 million people across the country -- and we're not done.

Together,
