Dear Patriot,

I wrote this because I do not want this moment to pass quietly.

You get a lot of campaign emails. I know that. Most of them are overly urgent and instantly forgettable.

This is not that.

I wrote you a real note because June 2nd is almost here, and after that, this race moves on with us or without us.

There is no automatic Republican nominee in California.

There is no second chance if we fall short. There is no clever explanation that will make up for failing to do everything possible while there was still time.

That is the brutal, unavoidable fact.

And frankly, I do not want this to be the last serious message I send to Americans across the country about this campaign because Democrats managed to stop us before November.

That would be a bitter, ridiculous ending to a fight we can absolutely win.
