Thank you for all your resistance efforts this past week. Together, we are making a difference! Now that the primary election is over, we hope that you are finding ways to help candidates win up and down the ballot. Whether you donate your money or your time to a campaign or an organization, you can help bring about change.

June 14th

Join us for a member meeting focused on self-care as we gear up for the general election cycle. Amy Tye will be our guest speaker. More details coming soon!

* MORAL MONDAYS IN GEORGETOWN - MAY 25TH
Join Georgetown Resistance for a weekly protest at Scott County Courthouse (101 E. Main St in Georgetown) from 4:45 p.m. until 5:45 p.m. The group asks that you bring non-confrontational, positive signs focused on issues. You can join their private Facebook group ([link removed]) for updates.
* SCHOOL BOARD CANDIDATE TRAINING - MAY 28TH
Public School Strong Kentucky, in association with Kentuckians for the Commonwealth, is hosting a School Board Candidate Training for anyone in Kentucky thinking about running for a local school board or helping manage a campaign. This is a virtual event from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Sign up on Mobilize ([link removed]) .
* SAVE THE DATE: BGAA MEETING - JUNE 14TH
Join us for a meeting at the downtown location of the Lexington Public Library (140 E. Main Street in Lexington) from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. This meeting, featuring guest speaker Amy Tye, will be focused on self-care as we gear up for the general election cycle. * PEACEFUL BLUEGRASS RESISTANCE PROTESTS
Peaceful Bluegrass Resistance is doing roadside protests multiple days per week and sometimes more than once per day! To get involved, sign up on their website ([link removed]) .
* CALL YOUR MEMBERS OF CONGRESS
Call your members of Congress and let them know how you feel about topics that most concern you. The Indivisible website's section Take Action Now ([link removed]) and the 5 Calls website ([link removed]) provide up-to-date talking points and information.
